To strengthen the technical department, we are looking for a Junior Development Engineer.
Your main tasks
- Developing, independently or in close collaboration with R&D engineers, designs and concepts for the development and technical improvement of various products and their respective means of production by
- analyzing current solutions and developing proposals, as well as conducting and evaluating the results of various experiments;
- performing calculations, analyzing and developing solutions to ensure that there is a solid theoretical basis for evaluating the effectiveness of the proposed solutions. - Analyze and develop special solutions to meet internal and/or customer specifications, including the definition of tests and characterization of materials, in close collaboration with the metrology laboratory.
- Preparation of technical documentation and presentations suitable for describing the various proposed solutions.
- Provide technical support during the assembly and testing phases by verifying the actual feasibility of the proposed solutions.
- Developing prototypes suitable for validating concepts and evaluating the most appropriate manufacturing methods, in close collaboration with the relevant departments, including following the product through the testing phases, both in the factory and in the field.
- Support the Sales and Product Management departments in the drafting and analysis of "customer technical specifications".
- Supporting the Supply Chain in the sourcing of materials and suppliers.
Your profile
- Diploma from technical school or higher technical school in microengineering, mechanics, materials and/or process science
- Ability to work in a team and solve problems. The position will be located within the R&D department.
- Analytical and organizational skills
- Flexible, communicative and proactive person
- Languages: in addition to Italian, a good knowledge of German and English is essential.
